Rentam works with two major classes of Equipment, Assets or Tools, plus a special opportunity for finding Equipment, Assets or Tools that are not currently available.

The amount you earn as a referral Partner depends on the equipment rented out by Rentam to your referred Clients

Rentam-Owned Equipment, Assets or Tools — Earn 20%

When Rentam rents out an Equipment, Asset or Tool owned by Rentam, the complete rental fee belongs to Rentam. As the Referral who generates the qualifying rental, you earn:

20% of the Complete Rental Fee

Example

Rentam rents its own truck for ₦100,000.

• Rental fee: ₦100,000
• Referral commission: 20%
• Your earnings: ₦20,000

Third-Party Equipment, Assets or Tools — Earn 20% of Rentam’s Share

Rentam also rents out Equipment, Assets or Tools owned by third parties, including individuals, businesses and organisations.

It is not every Equipments, Assets or Tools rented through Rentam that belongs to Rentam. Some are owned by third-party asset owners who partner with Rentam to make their assets available for rental. For these rentals, 30% of the rental amount belongs to Rentam, while the applicable share belongs to the third-party asset owner.

The Referral receives 20% of Rentam’s 30% Share

This is effectively 6% of the total rental amount.

Example

A third-party truck is rented for ₦100,000.

• Total rental: ₦100,000
• Rentam’s share: 30% = ₦30,000
• Referral commission: 20% of ₦30,000
• Your earnings: ₦6,000

Find Equipment, Assets or Tools Rentam Doesn’t Have — Earn 50% of Rentam’s Share

This is one of the major opportunities in the Rentam Referral Program. Sometimes, a renter requests Equipment, Assets or Tools that:

• Rentam does not own;
• Are not currently available on Rentam; and
• Rentam does not yet have a suitable partner who owns them.

Instead of losing the customer, Rentam may assign the request to a Referral to find a suitable third-party Equipment, Asset or Tool owner.

You search your network and help Rentam locate the required equipment. If the process succeeds and the equipment is successfully rented:

You earn 50% of Rentam’s share from the rental amount.

Example

• A renter needs a concrete mixer that is currently not available for rent on Rentam.

• You find an equipment owner who makes the concrete mixer available through Rentam.

• The equipment is successfully rented for ₦150,000.

• Rentam’s share: 30% = ₦45,000
• Referral commission: 50% of ₦45,000
• Your earnings: ₦22,500

₦150,000 third-party rental = ₦22,500 Referral Commission

• A referral does not automatically qualify for payment simply because a person’s details or an equipment owner’s details have been submitted.

• Generally, the applicable transaction or referral activity must be successfully completed and verified.

• Referrals must provide accurate information and follow Rentam’s procedures.

Referrals must not:

• Submit false information;
• Create fraudulent referrals;
• Misrepresent equipment;
• Make unauthorised promises on behalf of Rentam;
• Manipulate the Referral Program; or
• Engage in activities that violate Rentam’s policies.

Rentam may verify referrals, renters, asset owners, equipment, transactions and other relevant information before commissions or bonuses are approved.

• Do I need to own equipment?

No. You can earn by referring renters, finding asset owners, locating requested equipment and introducing new Referrals.

• How much do I earn from Rentam-owned assets?

You earn 20% of the complete rental fee for a qualifying referral.

For example, a ₦5,000 rental generates a ₦1,000 Referral Commission.

• How much do I earn from third-party assets?

You earn 20% of Rentam’s 30% share, which is effectively 6% of the total rental amount.

• How much can I earn for finding equipment Rentam doesn’t have?

For an eligible assignment that successfully results in a rental, you can earn 50% of Rentam’s share of the rental amount.

• Do I get the ₦5,000 Welcome Bonus immediately after joining?

• How do I earn the ₦1,000 Referral-to-Referral Commission?

• Will I receive training?

Referrals may be required to undergo training after applying. Training helps you understand Rentam and the Referral Program.

• Is every referral guaranteed to earn a commission?

No. The applicable referral must meet the program’s qualifying requirements and result in a successful eligible transaction or activity.
